Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducts MPSC State Services Examination (SSE) annually. In its latest, the Commission has released MPSC Notification 2021 on 4th October.

MPSC 2021:

  • Applications for MPSC State Services Exam 2021 has started on 5th October 2021 from 2.00 PM and will end on 25th October 2021 by 11.59 PM.
    • MPSC State Services Prelims 2021 is going to take place on 2nd January 2022.
  • Tentative dates for Mains Exam are 7th,  8th  and 9th May 2022. 

MPSC 2020:

  • MPSC Mains Exam Dates are out – 4th, 5th and 6th December 2021 are MPSC Mains Exam Dates.
  • MPSC  Prelims Examination – 2020 result is out  –  Candidates can download the MPSC Result on the linked page.

MPSC 2019:

  • MPSC has released  State Services Main Examination – 2019 Revised Merit List. Candidates can go through the result, cut-off details and download the result from MPSC Result link given above.

A Brief Timeline of Updates about MPSC Exam 2020-21:

  • 4th October – MPSC released an official notification for State Services Examination 2021.
  • 13th September 2021 – MPSC announced Rajya Sewa Mukhya Pariksha 2020 Dates.
  • 6th September 2021 – MPSC Prelims 2020 Result was announced.
  • 17th August 2021 – MPSC released the interview schedule for newly qualified candidates of MPSC 2019 Mains Exam.
  • 14 July 2021 – MPSC released the official final answer key to Prelims 2020 Examination.
  • On 11th January 2021, it was decided that the MPSC Prelims examination 2020 would take place on 14th March 2021.

The Prelims exam was postponed multiple times. Its original date was 5th April 2020 however, it got shifted to 26th April, 13th September, 20th September, 11th October, 14th March and finally to 21st March 2021 (Prelims took place on this date.)

MPSC Mains Examination was scheduled to take place on 2nd and 4th August 2021 however, in the delay of prelims result amid the Covid pandemic, the exam dates are shifted to 4th, 5th and 6th December 2021.

MPSC 2019 UPDATE:

The State Service Exam or the MPSC Rajyaseva Exam is conducted by the commission to recruit Group A and Group B officers in the various administrative branches of the Maharashtra state government.

The steps to apply online for MPSC exams are given below:

  1. Open the official Maha Online site in the browser
  2. If you don’t have an account, you will need to create one in order to apply for MPSC recruitment exams.
  3. Login using Id and Password. The home page will display the steps for application submission along with the latest MPSC recruitment advertisements and notifications.
  4. Create your profile (this is a one-time process). The profile is divided into six compartments:
    • Personal Information – Full name, Date of Birth, Maharashtra Domicile, Disability, Caste/Category etc.
    • Address Information
    • Other Information – Ex-serviceman, Govt employee, Sportsperson, Physical details (Height, Weight etc.)
    • Qualification Information – SSC, HSC, Graduation, Post Graduation etc.
    • Experience Information – Professional work experience

  5. From the list of exams for which you are eligible, select the particular exam
  6. Fill and submit the MPSC application form

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission is a constitutional body which conducts recruitment exams and advises the state government on recruitment rules, transfers, disciplinary action etc.

MPSC Composition:

The MPSC comprises a Chairperson and five other members. However, for some time now, several seats are lying vacant causing delays in the recruitment process.

    This is query regarding Maharashtra Forest Services.
    I have completed graduation in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
    As per notification, it is not clearly mentioned if engineering graduate can aaply for concerned exam.
    Please clarify.

      The candidates should be graduate in the subject of any one of these– Forensic science, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Horticulture, Animal Promotion, Veterinary medicine or he/she must be a Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering graduate.
