ICSE Class

A lot many schools have been affiliated under the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education or the ICSE, which is nothing but an examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. The CISCE or Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination is a private board of school education in India, devised to implement an examination in the course of general education, following the guidance of the New Education Policy 1986 (India), through the medium of English.

From the year 2018, the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) will reportedly conduct examinations for classes V and VIII. However, ICSE follows no pass-fail tags. The primary function of the council is to conduct Indian School Certificate Examinations. The Examination Conducted in Class10 is under ICSE and that conducted in Class 12 is under ISC.

The key objectives of the CISCE are to promote education, including the promotion of science, literature, the fine arts and the dissemination of valuable knowledge by conducting examination through the medium of English. The Council is a non-profit organisation only meant for educational advancement in the country.
