NEET or National Entrance cum Eligibility Test is a national level entrance exam for medical courses like MBBS, BDS, PG in various government and private Medical Institutes across India. The exam is conducted every year by the National Testing Agency or NTA. Medical aspirants should have a proper preparation plan because the number of applicants in the NEET Exam is much higher than the total number of seats offered. Be acquainted with the exam pattern

Questions in NEET come from subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (Zoology & Botany). There are 45 questions from each of the 4 sections, hence a total of 180 questions, where the maximum marks that can be scored are 720 marks. Questions are of intermediate level based on 11th and 12th standard Physics, Chemistry, and Biology books that follow the NCERT syllabus. Additionally, there is a slight change in the pattern. Each subject comprises 2 sections – Section A (35 questions), Section B (15 questions). Out of the 15 questions appearing in Section B, any 10 can be answered.

Know the syllabus

NEET has a vast syllabus. Before preparing, aspirants should spend a good amount of time understanding the NEET syllabus. Candidates can compare the exam syllabus with their board syllabus, and they can have some extra time to concentrate on the syllabus which is not covered. Time is priceless when NEET Preparation is considered. Setting goals can be used as a good strategy to help aspirants bring a positive change in their lives.
